Off the clock

Serving in the army until age 28, Clive has travelled widely and gained unique experiences that continue to shape his outlook. After the army, before entering the world of financial services, Clive ran a leisure business.

Each role Clive has held has demanded commitment, energy, and adaptability. He continues to bring these qualities to life inside and outside work, even if his sporting ability isn’t quite what it used to be.

My proudest moment as a financial planner was:

Persuading to the point of acting as witness at a client’s marriage. From my perspective, it was mostly for tax reasons.

The three things I love most about my job are:

The only one that matters is to help people through the complicated maze of legislation in its various forms, and in their decision making process.

The power to stop people worrying and feeling anxious.

Mesopotamia, cradle of civilisation.

Dad’s Army.
