Do I have to pay for an initial meeting?
No, Your first meeting is held at our cost, with no obligation to proceed.
What do I need to bring to an initial meeting?
As much information as possible about your current personal and financial situation. For example, any relevant financial information you have, such as bank statements, mortgage details, pension or investment valuations, and ID.
What happens in the first meeting?
We’ll get to know each other, discuss your goals or mortgage needs, answer your questions, and explore how we can help.
How long should I allow for an initial meeting?
Typically initial meetings last for around 1 to 1.5 hours.
Do I have to sign up to your services at an initial meeting?
No. There’s no pressure and no obligation to proceed.
Do you have a female adviser or planner I can work with?
Yes, just let us know if you would prefer to speak to a female adviser or planner when you first contact us.
What happens if my financial adviser or planner is away on holiday?
Our team is supported by a strong administration team who can assist, answer any questions, and keep things moving.
How often will I hear from my financial adviser or planner?
We agree together on how often we will meet up. This could be once a year or once every other year. We stay in touch in between those meetings, and schedule additional calls and meetings as needed, such as at the end of the tax year. We also send out regular newsletters and updates, so you’re up to date with our insights and updates.
Do you offer cashflow forecasting/planning as part of your service?
Yes. Cashflow forecasting and planning forms part of our advice, helping you understand how today’s decisions affect your future and long-term goals.
What happens if my circumstances change?
Let us know and we’ll adapt your strategy accordingly. If you want to discuss the change in circumstances or need additional advice, we are happy to arrange a meeting, online or in person. If you don’t require this, we will just ask you to upload new documents reflecting your change in circumstance to your secure client portal.
Can you work alongside my accountant, mortgage adviser, or lawyer?
Yes. With your permission, we’re happy to collaborate with your wider professional team to support your goals.
What happens if my adviser leaves the firm?
We will arrange a meeting with another adviser as soon as possible. In the meantime, you will continue to be supported by the wider team, so there is no disruption to your plan.
